PEF Summer Enrichment Program 2017

We look forward to your participation in the 2017 PEF Summer Enrichment Program!

Below are a few important details to note prior to the start of the program:


First Day Check-In: Look for the PEF table in the middle of campus across from play structure. You may walk into the campus through the gates on Oak Knoll or through gates on El Molino.

McKinley Summer Office: The regular school office on the Oak Knoll Ave. will be open during the summer.

Tuition Balance: Any outstanding balances this must be paid before the start of the program.

Holiday: There will be no program on Monday, July 4th. There is also no PEF program on Fridays.

Class Change Requests: Parents should notify staff in the McKinley office by filling out the class change request form. If changes can be made they will be reflected on student name tags starting the following day. The soonest a change will be made is the second day of programming.

        Drop Off:

  • Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM each morning, with no programming available before then.
  • All car drop-offs must occur on the west side of the campus off of El Molino Ave. carpool lane.
  • The east entrance of the campus on Oak Knoll Ave. is only available for walk-ins.
  • Intro to Kinder and First grade students should be walked into the campus to their classroom.

Pick Up:

  • Intro to Kinder and First grade students should be picked up from the tables in front of their classrooms.
  • Students in grades 2-8 can be picked up through the car line from El Molino or by walking into the campus to the pergola. Look for their Block C name class sign. 
  • Parents with both an Intro student and Block C student can pick them both up from the group of tables located near the Intro classes.


Dress Code: Children should be dressed in comfortable and appropriate summer attire. No open-toed shoes.


Behavior: Children will be expected to demonstrate good behavior per our policy.


Breakfast, Snack, and Lunch: PUSD Food Services Dept. offers a free breakfast and lunch program to the community for students 18 years and younger. Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. A mid-morning snack is not provided to students; if you plan to bring one please be advised that this is a peanut-free campus.

FREE: Breakfast 7:30-8:00 am & Lunch 12:00-12:30 pm
