Grants

The Pasadena Educational Foundation helps support the Pasadena Unified School District by raising funds via grants and foundation in a variety of ways.

Grantwriting Assistance

PEF offers technical assistance to the PUSD by coordinating and writing grant applications to government agencies as requested by the PUSD. In recent years grant applications have brought over $5 million annually to PUSD projects from government grants. More about grantwriting here >>

Foundations & Corporate Grants

PEF also writes grants to foundations and corporations to support education initiatives in the PUSD.

PEF Teacher Grants

The PEF Teacher Grant program provides teachers with important tools to enhance the learning experience for all students. Information for the 2015-16 school year is available here.

Field Trip Grants

Field Trip proposals can be submitted on an ongoing basis.  To apply, use the following form found here.

Teacher Resources

Pasadena Educational Foundation offers several opportunities for teachers to apply for and find information for grants that enhance curriculum and increase student achievement.

PEF compiles grant opportunities and maintains a subscription to an online foundation directory. more

The Pasadena Educational Foundation is dedicated to supporting the needs of all our public school students, not just for today, but for another 45 years and beyond. Support from our community members is also vital to helping us p rovide essential resources and enrichment opportunities to every public school student in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre.

Pasadena Educational Foundation is pleased to announce it has received a $75,000 grant from the S. Mark Taper Foundation.  These funds will support the five Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) Healthy Start Family Centers located at Madison, Jackson, and Cleveland Elementary Schools, Eliot Middle School, and the Education Center.
